On X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday to share photos with his wife Himani and announce the beginning of their married life. Neeraj, who won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games and a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, shared the joyous news on social media along with pictures from the wedding.

Neeraj Chopra, who hails from Khandra village in Panipat district of Haryana, gave India a new identity in javelin throw. He first earned fame by winning the Under-20 World Athletics Championship in 2016. Then in 2018, he also won gold medals in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. His biggest achievement came in Tokyo Olympics 2021 when Neeraj won the gold medal with a throw of 87.58 meters and became the first Indian to win an Olympic medal in athletics, that too gold. Neeraj then took his achievement to new heights by winning the silver medal in the Paris Olympics.
